I can’t believe a student took my badge. Oh Lord, what the hell? She is out of control. She stole badges, she tore up offices, beat up staff, kicked staff from the back. 

Dear Lord, what is going on?

the fact that one of the strongest women in my field was in tears telling off this girl that she needed to get her shit together. What? How is this happening?

No one knows. I am not going to give up. Tomorrow is a new day. 

I am finally over it. This emotion you had over my head, believe me is gone. I am over it. 

I can not believe it took so long for me to get over this whole ordeal. 

At least it is done and I can move on.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. 

Achievement yesterday: a young student asked to talk to me when she was in a bad place. She then shared with me that she was thinking of being self injurious and asked her why. She said it was because she felt her whole unit was after her. Upon hearing this, I told her that she was smarter than this to make this decision of hurting herself. I told her that I knew she knew other ways of handling this situation. I didn’t think I could ever muster any courage to tell that to any student. For the first time, I didn’t think to myself ’ man I should have said that differently’. It was exactly what I wanted to say. 

So yesterday didn’t suck entirely.
